Daily Care & Maintenance
Caring for your vinyl flooring is fairly low-maintenance, but it is still important to establish a care routine and follow a few basic maintenance tips to make sure your floors last for many years.
Place walk off mats or area rugs at each entryway to collect dirt and grit that might be tracked in. Sweep and dry mop daily, or several times a week, depending on how much foot-traffic an area receives. A vacuum cleaner (without a beater bar) can be used. An occasional damp mopping is also suggested.
Dealing With
Spills & Stains
When it comes to your floors, spills and stains are inevitable, especially if you have pets or children. If you spill a liquid on your vinyl floors, wipe it up with a clean cloth immediately. Use a damp cloth to remove any residue. You can also use a wet mop.
